How I Found XPD

Conversations That Changed Direction

At the MAD Grad Show and First Steps with SP programme, I spoke with lecturers and students about course expectations, studio culture, and project outcomes. Those conversations showed me how deeply XPD values empathy and iteration.

Why It Fits

I enjoy collaborative problem-solving, but I can also drive independent execution. That balance matches the way XPD combines research, prototyping, storytelling, and refinement.

"I love to help people, and design gives me a practical way to do exactly that."

Core Strengths

CliftonStrengths themes I rely on while building projects.

Ideation

I generate unconventional possibilities quickly and turn abstract thoughts into tangible concepts.

Futuristic

I map toward long-term outcomes and motivate teams with a clear vision of what could exist next.

Analytical

I look for evidence, patterns, and causal relationships before finalizing decisions.

Self-Assurance

I stay decisive in uncertain moments and remain accountable for final outcomes.

Command

I communicate clearly, address hidden problems, and keep teams aligned when tension appears.

Frameworks I Use

Design Thinking

Introduced during CM-ADMT, this framework taught me to empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test while keeping user feedback central at every stage.

SCAMPER

SCAMPER helps me challenge assumptions through structured prompts, especially when reimagining existing products and interfaces for stronger outcomes.
